Synopsis

Il fiume è pieno di sorprese. La discesa di Nicola vuole essere un viaggio alla scoperta. Scopre che il Brenta fornisce il 30% dell’acqua potabile di tutto il Veneto e viene a conoscenza delle ingegnose misure adottate per proteggere questa risorsa.
La sorpresa del limo del Brenta, terreno fertile per l’agricoltura locale, ma anche per l’industria cosmetica. Grotte nascoste, pietre che diventano opere d’arte, mulini del XV secolo, la culla delle api provenienti da tutto il mondo, l’autostrada di legno che sostiene l’intera Venezia, il tabacco di contrabbando e molto altro ancora. Un mondo parallelo impossibile da vedere dalla strada.

The river is full of surprises. Nicola's descent is intended to be a journey of discovery. He discovers that the Brenta provides 30% of the drinking water for the whole of Veneto, and learns about ingenious measures taken to protect this resource.
The surprise of the Brenta silt, a fertile base for local agriculture, but also for cosmetics. Hidden caves, stones that become works of art, 15th-century mills, the cradle of bees from all over the world, the wooden highway that supports the whole of Venice, contraband tobacco, and much more. A parallel world that is impossible to see from the road.
