An award-winning Luso-American actress, director and producer with over 100 credits across film, TV and theater. As founder of Multeity, she brings a global perspective that combines art, industry and intercultural storytelling.

Anna Carvalho is an award-winning Luso-American actress, director and producer with over 100 credits in film, television and theater. Her work has been recognized in more than 20 international festivals, earning awards in both acting and directing. Her directorial debut, Death Is The Place On Earth, premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner and later entered international distribution and festival circuits. As founder of Multeity, she focuses on intercultural storytelling and global creative collaboration. She holds a Master's degree in Acting and Performing Arts and a degree in Audiovisual Communication, with additional professional training in Europe, the United States and the United Kingdom. She has also served as juror and panel speaker at international festivals and conferences.

Martina Mele
Week 2

Martina Mele

Director and writer | Country: Italy

Director from Ferrara and founder of DestinationFilm, she works across directing, screenwriting and production design. Her shorts have premiered and received awards at national and international festivals.

Martina Mele, born in 1997 in Ferrara, trained at DAMS in Bologna and works across directing, screenwriting and production design. In 2019 she founded DestinationFilm, a company dedicated to cinema and theater promotion, collaborating on short film productions with partners including Navona Film, Flickmates, Kublai Film, Pathos Factory and Eclettica. As writer-director, she made Rapacita (2024), premiered at the 30th Visioni Italiane and winner at Edera Film Festival 2025, and Das Meer (2023), premiered at the 29th Visioni Italiane and selected at Linz International Short Film Festival. She also works as production designer and producer on projects presented at Alice nella Citta, Warsaw Film Festival and works nominated for the David di Donatello awards. She is currently producing her new short FILONZANA with Diero Film.

Asia Galeotti
Week 3

Asia Galeotti

Actress | Country: Italy

Actress trained in Bologna, London and Milan, with credits in feature films, a RAI series and award-winning shorts. She also expanded her craft through directing and screenwriting studies.

After earning her professional acting diploma at Scuola di Teatro Colli in Bologna, Asia Galeotti joined Compagnia Teatro Dehon and Gruppo Teatro Colli, debuting in multiple stage productions. She deepened on-camera acting with Loredana Scaramella, acting coach Mel Churcher and City Academy London, then continued training with Augusto Fornari and Steven Ditmyer on the Meisner method. She appeared in four feature films, a RAI series and several short films as lead actress, including Uruguay, Lontania, Selfie and Fabiana, all awarded at important national and international festivals. She also attended directing and screenwriting studies at CS Cinema Milano. In 2023 she won second place as actress in the prestigious national Wanda Capodaglio competition and currently works as an audiobook narrator for UICI.

Roberta Pazi

Actress, director and producer | Country: Italy

A theater and film professional with more than 25 years of experience between Italy and France. She has received international recognition as a director, actress and producer, and is deeply active in actor training.

Roberta Pazi is an actress, director, producer and theater trainer with over 25 years of experience in Italian and French theater and cinema. She graduated in acting from Scuola di Teatro Colli dell'Emilia Romagna and in Speech Therapy from the University of Ferrara, and has worked in performing arts since 1999. Her directorial debut short La Paura di Vincere (2024), co-written and co-produced by her, won Best Director at International Film Festival Manhattan 2025 and a Special Mention for Best First Work at Tamizhagam International Film Festival. As an actress she won Best Actress at International Film Festival Manhattan 2020 for L'Usignolo sul Mare. She has co-produced and worked on shorts selected in major festivals including Venice Critics' Week and Alice nella Citta, received a career award in 2024, and is co-founder of DestinationFilm-APS.

Simone Arrighi
Week 5

Simone Arrighi

Director and screenwriter | Country: Italy

Writer-director with a background in acting and cinematic photography. He has directed multiple award-winning short films with a visual language focused on emotional and social themes.

Simone Arrighi, born in Lucca in 1975, trained in acting in Florence and Rome, while working in film, TV and theater. In Rome he also studied photography and specialized in portrait and cinematic lighting, later moving into writing and directing. He wrote and directed Diva (2016), a noir short, followed by Out (2018), centered on homosexuality and acceptance. In 2021 he released La giostra, inspired by his personal family experience with Alzheimer, and the short won multiple awards in international festivals. He also directed music videos and in 2022 wrote and directed Ricordati di sorridere sempre, a dramatic thriller awarded best thriller at Caorle Film Festival. In 2025 he returned with LegameMaterno, currently in international distribution.

Alessandro Leo
Week 6

Alessandro Leo

Producer and executive producer | Country: Italy

Founder of Aleo Film, he combines acting experience with a strong production vision. He supports new generations of filmmakers through a method that connects production, distribution and industry growth.

After working as an actor alongside Pupi Avati in films such as Dante, Il fulgore di Dony and La quattordicesima domenica del tempo ordinario, Alessandro Leo moved behind the camera as organizer and executive producer in independent productions. At 22 he founded Aleo Film S.r.l. in Bologna, a company quickly recognized for project quality, production care and strategic attention to communication and distribution. In 2023 he was selected by Biografilm Festival among the ten emerging producers of Emilia-Romagna, and in 2025 he was selected by EAVE for the PUENTES Italia program. In 2026 he launched Aleo Media House and Aleo Events, expanding his work across cinema, communication and event production.
